Spider-Man: No way home Review
This movie has been a great combination of romance, sci fi and action.
From the beginning Spider-Man’s struggle of having been known Peter Parker is quickly illustrated. His identity causing a major catastrophe to everyone around him was depicted quite while within a short time frame.
One of the best things Spider-Man does is create sense of humour even in dark situations. This is what makes Marvel movies great in general which is heightened in this movie.
Seeing all the different Spider-Man from the past together is a breath of nostalgia. Everyone cheered in the cinema as Toby Maguire and Andrew Garfield appeared. Seeing the Spider-Man converse was a special memory. It was interesting to see how different the Spider-Man personalities are which I never truly realised until they were together.
The fights were epic. The combination of strengths of all the Spider-Man to help the Villains. It felt weird hearing Uncle Bens last words through aunt May but it showed how the Spider-Men’s worlds were unique in their own way. The twist at the end seeing the goblin shatter the cube was an amazing as Spider-Man was now forced to be forgotten to be known as Peter Parker. The last scene with MJ was quite sad but it prevents the story being predictable. One of the scenes with Andrew Garfield saving MJ which is a way of him getting retribution from not being able to save Gwen was a great addition.
The final cut scenes make me excited to see what they do with Dr Strange and his universe. Cumberbatch really suits the role.
